From robotics innovation to flagship devices, HONOR expands its AI device ecosystem at MWC 2026

At the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, global technology brand HONOR unveiled a range of new innovations that expand its artificial intelligence ecosystem—from experimental robotics to flagship consumer devices.

The company advanced its Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) vision and accelerated its ALPHA PLAN, built around three pillars: Alpha Phone, Alpha Store, and Alpha Lab. These initiatives aim to integrate intelligent hardware and software to better respond to real human needs.

“With human centric as our lighthouse, we navigate the growth of AI through the two beams of IQ and EQ, bringing three forms of intelligence together,” said James Li, CEO of HONOR. “We are exploring the new paradigm of AI devices with Alpha Phone, hosting the AI ecosystem with Alpha Store, and building the silicon-carbon civilization with Alpha Lab.”

A preview of the HONOR Robot Phone

The Robot Phone introduces a new concept of smartphone by combining embodied AI interaction with robot-grade motion and cinematic imaging capabilities. Unlike traditional smartphones, which rely mainly on screens and voice commands, HONOR designed the device to interact more physically and expressively through motion and camera movement. Through multimodal perception, it can detect sounds, track motion, and maintain visual awareness, creating a more natural and intuitive interaction.

In addition, the device supports all-angle AI video calling that follows the user through robot-grade motion control. It can also respond with expressive body language, such as nodding or shaking its head, and even move to the rhythm of music, adding a playful and lifelike dimension to smartphone interaction.

To enable these features, HONOR engineered a compact micro motor and integrated an ultra-compact 4DoF gimbal system inside the phone. As a result, the device supports three-axis stabilization for smooth and stable motion even in dynamic environments. Features such as Super Steady Video, AI Object Tracking, and AI SpinShot allow intelligent subject tracking and cinematic camera movements, including 90° and 180° rotations.

Ultimately, equipped with a 200MP sensor and a stabilized gimbal camera system, the Robot Phone is designed to help users capture more dynamic and professional-looking videos, demonstrating how embodied AI could shape the next generation of mobile devices.

HONOR Magic V6: A New Foldable Benchmark

While the Robot Phone explores embodied intelligence, the HONOR Magic V6 sets a new standard in flagship foldable innovation. Combining an ultra-thin 8.75mm closed profile with reinforced structural design and advanced hinge architecture, it balances slimness, durability, and long-term reliability, with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance.

Magic V6 integrates fifth-generation silicon-carbon battery technology in partnership with ATL, achieving 25% silicon content for higher energy density in a compact form, housing a 6,660mAh battery. HONOR also previewed the Silicon-carbon Blade Battery with 32% silicon content and 900+ Wh/L, paving the way for ultra-thin foldables in the 7000mAh era.

Its dual LTPO 2.0 displays—6.52 inches external, 7.95 inches unfolded—offer 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rates and peak brightness up to 6,000 nits, with ultra-thin flexible glass, minimized crease depth, anti-reflection coating, 4320Hz PWM dimming, and AI Defocus Display for a more immersive and comfortable viewing experience.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with advanced vapor chamber cooling, Magic V6 delivers smooth gaming, multitasking, and demanding workloads. Coupled with AI-enhanced productivity and cross-ecosystem tools, it becomes a versatile foldable companion optimized for content creation, communication, and everyday performance.

MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14

Expanding its AI-powered ecosystem beyond smartphones, HONOR introduced the HONOR MagicPad 4 and HONOR MagicBook Pro 14 at Mobile World Congress 2026.

The MagicPad 4, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, features an ultra-slim 4.8mm design and a 12.3-inch 3K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, offering flagship-level performance for productivity and content creation. It also includes AI-enhanced multitasking and cross-device collaboration, enabling seamless interaction with smartphones and multi-platform environments, including Apple’s ecosystem.

Meanwhile, the MagicBook Pro 14 is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and features a 14.6-inch OLED display, combining strong performance, efficient battery management, and a lightweight design for portable productivity.

Together, the two devices highlight HONOR’s strategy of expanding AI-powered experiences across its connected ecosystem.

Advancing Intelligent Devices and Robots for the AI Era

At its launch event, HONOR also unveiled its first humanoid robot, signaling a broader strategic move to leverage its expertise in mobile technology to create consumer-grade robots. HONOR’s robots will focus on three core scenarios: shopping assistance, workplace inspections, and especially supportive companionship. Unlike traditional robotics companies, HONOR brings a deep understanding of users developed through its smartphones and connected devices. This ecosystem continuity enables future embodied AI devices to recognize users, understand their needs and provide personalized physical assistance from the first interaction.

Together, Robot Phone, humanoid robot, HONOR Magic V6, MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14 demonstrate how HONOR is extending AHI across both digital and physical experiences. From embodied AI exploration to flagship foldable engineering and AI-powered productivity, each announcement reflects deeper integration of intelligence across hardware and software.
